Acrylicize in New York is seeking a Senior Technical Designer to bridge design intent and technical delivery. You will lead technical work from development through installation, ensuring buildable, high-quality solutions.

The US-focused role supports the New York studio while collaborating with the UK Production team during peak periods. You will manage build documentation, costing, procurement, logistics, and document control to enable seamless global delivery and maintain high technical

Qualifications

• Advanced Rhino modelling required.
• Proficient CAD skills with construction documentation experience.
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings and coordinate with fabrication teams.
• Familiarity with fabrication methods and BIM workflows.
• Experience using Revit/BIM on commercial interiors or exhibitions.

Responsibilities

• Develop Rhino models from concept through detailed design.
• Translate concepts into production-ready drawing packages.
• Create technical docs for pricing, fabrication, and construction.
• Conduct site surveys and architectural coordination.
• Produce elevations, plans, sections and technical details.
• Identify technical risks and propose practical solutions.
• Act as technical lead from design to installation.
