Job summary

Rate Fit is building a premium activewear brand and seeks an experienced Technical Designer to establish technical standards, fit philosophy, and production infrastructure. You will partner with Design, Product Development, Manufacturing, and Operations to ensure peak fit, quality, and consistency as the line scales.

You will own tech packs, measurements, grading, and sizing libraries, shaping standards that define Rate Fit's future.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Technical Design, Apparel Development or related roles.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and update technical packages (tech packs) for all product categories.
• Translate design concepts into production-ready specifications and maintain product intent.
• Document specifications, construction details, measurements, grading rules, fabrics, trims, and manufacturing requirements.
• Manage development records including lab dips, fabric approvals, trim approvals, and fit notes.
• Lead garment measurements and in-person fit sessions; ensure changes are implemented before production.
• Own technical transition from development to production and issue production-ready packages.
