Job summary

Bandit Running, Inc. is seeking a Technical Designer to support our Head of Technical Design in creating the best fitting, most quality running apparel on the market.

This full-time, in-office role is based in our Greenpoint, Brooklyn headquarters. You will own technical development from sample to production, maintain tech packs, lead live fittings, and communicate with factory partners. Competitive base salary + equity and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Technical Design, preferably in activewear.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Centric PLM, Optitex, and Adobe Creative Suite; 3D tools a plus.
• Ability to collaborate with Design, Product Development and Production.
• Comfort in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

• Own technical development from initial sample through production.
• Create and maintain accurate tech packs, specs and construction details in PLM.
• Measure samples and evaluate patterns, construction and workmanship.
• Lead live model fittings and translate feedback into directives.
• Provide technical recommendations for fit, function and manufacturability.
• Support wear testing to validate fit, performance and durability.
• Communicate with factory partners to ensure clear execution of tech direction.
• Maintain seasonal timelines and proactively identify risks.
