Job summary

24 Seven Talent represents a growing fashion brand seeking a Senior Technical Designer to drive fit, construction, and overall product execution across soft dressing, wovens, suiting, and outerwear. You will partner with Design and Product Development, lead live fit sessions, create tech packs, and communicate requirements to overseas factories while mentoring junior team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field.
• 7+ years of technical design experience in apparel.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, fit, grading, and draping.
• Experience leading fit sessions with overseas factories.
• Proficient in Excel and Illustrator.
• Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience across soft dressing, wovens, suiting, and outerwear.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Design and Product Development to translate concepts into products.
• Lead live fit sessions and evaluate garments for fit and construction.
• Create and maintain detailed tech packs with specs, grading, and comments.
• Communicate fit and construction requirements to overseas factories.
• Troubleshoot fit, construction, and manufacturing issues throughout development.
• Review proto samples and suggest improvements for quality and feasibility.
• Maintain development calendars, fittings, and milestones.
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.
• Identify process improvements to boost product quality and efficiency.
