Job summary

WATG is seeking a Senior Technical Designer for its Atlantic City office. The role blends creativity, technical excellence, and leadership across multiple projects, with in-person collaboration and a Friday remote option.

Candidates should bring a professional architecture/interior design degree, licensure path, and 7+ years’ experience in hospitality design, with proficiency in Revit and related design tools. This is a hybrid, in-person position with remote Fridays.

Qualifications

• Professional degree from an accredited school in Architecture or Interior Design.
• Licensed professional or working towards licensure.
• 7+ years of interior-design-related experience, hospitality focus, multiple typologies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure design intent is reflected in technical documentation and is executed properly.
• Lead planning and solution development for technical and design challenges across projects.
• Develop interiors concepts based on client vision and architectural concepts.
• Coordinate client expectations, team communications, and consultant coordination.
• Prepare design details and construction documentation across phases from programming to construction.
