WATG and Wimberly Interiors in Atlantic City is seeking a Senior Technical Designer to deliver technically robust interior and architectural projects. This role requires in-person collaboration, with the option to work remotely only on Friday.

You will lead technical documentation, coordinate with design teams, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure quality across multiple projects while advancing sustainable design practices.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
• Licensed professional or pursuing licensure.
• Environmental accreditation preferred.
• 7+ years in interior-design-related projects with hospitality focus.
• Proficient in Revit with 7+ years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, techniques and design systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensures design intent is carried through in technical documentation.
• Leads planning and problem solving across project phases.
• Oversees interiors concepts aligned with client vision and architecture.
• Manages client expectations, team communications, and consultants.
• Coordinates design details, programming, schematics, and DD/CD.
• Reviews technical documents including plans and elevations.
• Generates project documents, manages finances, keeps schedule.
• Collaborates with clients and consultants on detailed drawings.
• Verifies design requirements and delivers presentations on target.
