Appian’s Customer Success team seeks a Principal Technical Consultant to lead post‑sales software and AI solution delivery on the Appian platform. You will guide projects from definition through deployment, mentor consultants, and partner with client teams in an agile setting to deliver measurable business impact.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, a track record of cross‑functional collaboration, and experience with AWS, cloud services, and API integrations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on software development or technical consulting.
• B.S./B.A. in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics or related field/degree.
• Willingness to travel; 20% or less annually to support customer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects post‑sales to define, design, develop and implement custom software and AI solutions on Appian.
• Mentor consultants and coordinate across cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
• Collaborate with client technical teams to gather requirements and drive adoption of process applications.
• Brainstorm AI use cases and apply Appian AI tools to transform client operations.
