Job summary

EMSA- Emergency Medical Services Authority seeks a data analytics professional to drive requirements across units and transform real-time data into actionable insights. You will partner with operations, finance, clinical, and support teams to develop analyses, with experience across CAD, EHR, and billing systems.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in business or technical analysis, plus strong enterprise systems experience and familiarity with EMS or healthcare

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders across operations, finance, clinical, and billing to develop analyses and documentation.
• Analyze data from multiple systems (CAD, EHR, Billing, Logistics) to identify trends and improve efficiency.
• Work with SQL, Snowflake, SharePoint, and other data sources; visualize data using Crystal Reports, Tableau, and Power BI.
• Present data and test process changes with stakeholders to drive performance.

Essential Functions Of The Position

• Drive awareness of requirements across business units and identify substandard systems processes through evaluation of real-time data.
• Determine and develop user requirements for systems in production, ensuring maximum usability.
• Partner with stakeholders across business units (ex: operations, finance, clinical, support, billing, etc.) to develop analyses and documentation in a collaborative way, communicating effectively and efficiently with production, managerial, and executive teams.
• Analyze data from multiple systems (Computer Aided Dispatch, Electronic Health Records, Billing, Logistics, etc.), identifying trends and correlations that can be used to increase organizational efficiency.
• Work with relational and non-relational data sources (SQL, Snowflake, SharePoint, etc.).
• Visualize data utilizing available platforms (Crystal Reports, Tableau, Power Bi).
• Present data and work with shareholders to test process changes and drive performance in their areas of responsibility.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• This position does not have supervisory or management responsibilities of other employees.

Physical Demands

• Required to walk, sit, stand, and move about the property for periods of time.
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
