Job summary

Priority Ondemand in Indianapolis is seeking an experienced IT Application Analyst to design, deploy, maintain and support enterprise applications and data integrations across the healthcare/EMS environment.

You will collaborate with clinical, operational and IT leadership to optimize workflows, develop reports, test new apps, and ensure secure, compliant data management. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential in this regulated setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience administrating CAD and ePCR systems in an emergency services environment.
• 5+ years of Technology and Support experience in a complex and regulated environment.
• Ability to understand and assess technology systems from both technical and business perspectives.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and influence teams; and self-motivated.
• Experience in healthcare, EMS or related field preferred.
• Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills are essential.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with all levels of personnel including leadership, executives, clients, vendors.
• Ability to work in and contribute to a team environment and meet stringent deadlines.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and follow through including documenting work.
• Ability to maintain the confidentiality of information is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains in depth understanding of clinical, operational or other specialized applications and systems.
• Collaborate with operational, clinical, and other business leaders to design workflows, reports and other application configurations.
• Monitor workflows and usage to continuously improve applications; balancing ease-of-use, compliance, and data requirements.
• Lead testing of new and/or upgraded applications and integrations with deep collaboration with operational teams.
• Maintain an expert-level understanding of the vendor roadmaps for enhancements and future releases.
• Collaborate with vendors, infrastructure teams and business partners to integrate applications with other systems within the IT landscape.
• Collaborate with IT leaders to develop and maintain secure and reliable applications and data
• Provide Tier2/Tier3 user support for enterprise applications.
• Works with software vendors in implementing systems and resolving systems issues
• Create and maintain documentation on system configurations, standard operating procedures and protocols that build knowledge for IT support staff as well as business users.

• Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate with 5+ years of Technology and Support experience in a complex and regulated environment.


• Ability to understand and assess technology systems and applications from both a technical and business function perspective.


• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and influence teams; and self-motivated


• Experience working in a healthcare, EMS or related field preferred.
