Jackson Dawson is an experiential marketing agency seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst to ensure client ideas are transformed into well-built solutions by getting the requirements right.

You will represent IT on client projects, with about 90% of them web-based. From there, you will gather client goals, document business rules, and work with our Development team to deliver on time and to spec, bridging client and developer needs throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualificações

• 6+ years of business analysis experience on software or web-based projects.
• Proven experience gathering requirements directly from clients and turning them into technical specifications.
• Solid understanding of web application concepts and architecture to scope and validate work.

Senior Technical Business Analyst

Overview

Jackson Dawson is an experiential marketing agency that creates immersive brand experiences for some of the world's best-known companies. Our Information Technology team builds and supports the web solutions behind those experiences. We're looking for a Senior Technical Business Analyst to make sure every client idea becomes a well-built solution, starting with getting the requirements right.

In this role, you'll represent IT on client projects, and about 90% of those are web-based. Our Account Representatives own the client relationship and bring you in when a project needs IT. From that point, the requirements are yours. You'll listen to clients, turn their goals into clear specifications, document the business rules and logic, and work with our Development team to deliver on time and to spec.

You understand what clients want and what developers need to build it, and you can move easily between the two. Your job is to make sure nothing gets lost along the way.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to understand the outcomes they want, and confirm scope and timelines.

• Present requirements to the Development team and confirm with them that the work can be done within the agreed timeline.
• Check completed work against the documentation to confirm it matches the specification, and flag any gaps or deviations early.
• Define acceptance criteria and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Work with Account Representatives to keep client expectations and project delivery aligned from start to finish.

Qualifications

Required

• 6+ years of business analysis experience on software or web-based projects.
• Proven experience gathering requirements directly from clients and turning them into technical specifications.
• A solid understanding of web application concepts and architecture, enough to scope and validate the work being built.
• A track record of documenting business rules and logic clearly and completely.
• Experience working with development teams and reviewing their work against documented requirements.
• Excellent communication, listening, and expectation-management skills with clients.
• Ability to work independently and manage several projects at once.

Preferred

• CBAP, CCBA, or PMP certification.
• Agile/Scrum experience (CSM or equivalent).
• Background in marketing, agency, or experiential services.
• Familiarity with web architecture, APIs, and integration patterns.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted tools for documentation and proof-of-concept development.
• Experience handling regulated data (such as PHI) and the compliance requirements that come with it.
