Job summary

Accenture Federal Services in Washington, DC is seeking a Technical Architect Lead to drive end-to-end architecture for a large-scale federal program. You will design, build, refactor IT systems and lead an engineering team onsite.

Responsibilities include managing DevSecOps, security compliance, capacity planning, and communicating technical decisions to clients and leadership. Requires TS clearance, AWS Solutions Architect Associate, and experience with C&A processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years design/build/refactor/operate of large-scale IT systems.
• Experience leading engineering teams of 5+ engineers.
• Strong technical documentation and standards management capabilities.
• Experience with federal Certification & Accreditation (C&A) processes.
• Operational leadership across production and COOP environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and refactor large-scale IT systems across the full solution delivery lifecycle.
• Manage a cross-functional engineering team (≥5 engineers) to maintain production and COOP environments.
• Oversee DevSecOps practices, code migrations, security patching, and environment readiness.
• Coordinate capacity planning, PI planning, accreditation, audits, and contingency testing for resilient, compliant operations.
• Communicate technical solutions and architecture decisions clearly to clients and leadership.
