Job summary

Jeppesen ForeFlight is seeking a Senior Analyst of Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting to lead complex accounting issues, revenue recognition, and capitalized software analysis. The role oversees OEM royalty accounting and project accounting, partnering with FP&A and Engineering in a hybrid Denver, CO environment.

You will prepare financial statements, research non-routine transactions, and mentor staff, leveraging Big 4/public accounting experience to navigate fast-paced dynamics.

Qualifications

• Experience navigating complex accounting issues and providing clear recommendations.
• Experience in software/SaaS revenue recognition (ASC 606) and US GAAP reporting.
• Ability to mentor and supervise accounting staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee royalty accounting for OEM agreements and revenue recognition per ASC 606.
• Lead and coach royalty and project accounting teams and month-end close deliverables.
• Support capitalized software processes and analyses for new products and upgrades.
• Prepare quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements and disclosures.
• Research complex transactions and document accounting conclusions.
