Job summary

Amneal Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Technical Accounting Manager to lead lease accounting under ASC 842, complex contract accounting and accounting research, supporting quarterly and annual close. You will partner with Finance, Legal, IT and Tax to ensure US GAAP compliance and audit-ready documentation.

The role also drives SOX control enhancements and oversees contract reviews, requiring a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance and 7+ years of Big 4 or pharma experience.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Big 4 and/or corporate pharmaceutical industry.
• Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in Accounting/Finance – Required.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting theory.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting for complex transactions and quarterly/annual close activities, including lease accounting under ASC 842.
• Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, IT, Tax and business stakeholders to ensure US GAAP consistency.
• Design, implement and enhance SOX controls over new processes and system implementations.
• Oversee contract reviews and ensure accounting conclusions are documented prior to execution.
