Job summary

ORIX USA Group seeks an experienced accounting professional to manage all technical accounting for ORIX subsidiaries, including research on new guidance and precise application of US GAAP reporting. You will own Accounting Policy and promote consistency across the organization.

Ideal candidates hold a CPA with 6–10 years of accounting experience, familiarity with CECL, Goodwill, Consolidation, Derivatives, and IFRS knowledge; strong communication and multitasking skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of accounting and reporting experience.
• Public accounting experience; Big 4 preferred.
• CPA required.
• Strong US GAAP technical accounting knowledge (CECL, Goodwill, Consolidation, Derivatives).
• Experience with US GAAP reporting for subsidiaries of SEC registrants is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited four-year university.
• Excellent organizational, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines under pressure.
• IFRS knowledge and financial services industry experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of technical accounting for ORIX USA Group and subsidiaries, including research and application of new guidance.
• Own Accounting Policy and ensure consistency across offices.
• Coordinate with satellite offices to align technical accounting conclusions.
• Collaborate with external and internal auditors on accounting issues.
• Take on other projects as assigned.
