Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• CPA required.
• 6+ years’ accounting experience with at least 2-3 years in corporate accounting and financial reporting for public companies.
• Experience with FASB, SEC and other governing body requirements including research and interpretation.
• Strong computer and excel skills.
• Strong communication and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing new accounting standards and policies.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and reconciliations for technical accounting matters including Consolidation & Elimination Entries, Stock-based Compensation, Business Combinations, Equity Instruments, and Debt & Interest.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, equity statements and related supporting information.
• Prepare SEC filings under Form 10-Q and Form 10-K.
• Prepare Rules 3-05 and 11 financial statements and pro formas under Form 8-K for material acquisitions.
• Provide support for annual audit and quarterly reviews by external auditors.
• Participate in special projects and ad hoc requests.
