Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Senior Accountant – Technical to support technical accounting and financial reporting across a complex multi-entity structure. You will research accounting conclusions, prepare analyses, and contribute to external reporting and audits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in technical accounting/financial reporting.
• Licensed CPA or a CPA candidate.
• Experience drafting technical accounting memoranda with authoritative literature.
• Experience researching and applying US GAAP using authoritative accounting literature.
• Working knowledge of ASC 606, 810, 842, 805, and 850.
• Ability to independently manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines with limited supervision.
• Consolidation experience in a multi-entity environment; joint venture experience preferred.
• Experience supporting external audits; senior living, healthcare, real estate, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel; experience with large ERP and consolidation systems.

Responsibilities

• Research, analyze, and prepare technical accounting memoranda for complex transactions (ASC 810/805/606/842/850).
• Evaluate contracts and legal agreements and identify accounting implications.
• Develop accounting position analyses and supporting schedules.
• Prepare consolidation analyses and equity method accounting schedules.
• Draft annual and interim financial statements and footnote disclosures.
• Coordinate external audit requests and provide audit support schedules.
• Support acquisitions, dispositions, financings, restructurings, and new ventures.
• Identify internal control considerations from complex transactions.
