Job summary

First Western is seeking a Senior Technical Accountant in Denver, Colorado. This role focuses on developing and monitoring technical accounting areas including preparing monthly entries and reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have strong GAAP knowledge and experience in public accounting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in public accounting and external reporting.
• Experience with SEC reporting or regulatory filings preferred.
• Familiarity with GAAP and direct experience with bank regulatory filings is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly accounting entries and reconciliations.
• Support timely financial reporting processes.
• Research variances and prepare necessary technical accounting memos.
