Job summary

NOW CFO in Denver is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Denver consulting team. You will supervise and evaluate day-to-day accounting activities, developing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting information across client engagements.

Ideal candidates have in-depth GAAP knowledge, strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables), and proven leadership. You will support month-end and year-end closes and coordinate with external auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Experience leading accounting activities across multiple client engagements.
• Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivots, advanced functions).

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities across client engagements.
• Handle billing, AR, AP, GL, cost accounting, and revenue recognition.
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts; manage tax filings and royalties where applicable.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes and auditor interactions.

Location Denver CO Workplace Type Onsite Compensation 8500094000 per year NOW CFO is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Denver consulting team As a Senior Accountant consultant youll supervise track and evaluate day to day accounting activities establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting analyzing verifying and reporting information Day to day responsibilities will vary depending on each clients size and needs To succeed in this role you should have in depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles GAAP and experience with risk management Responsibilities Handle sales tax filings bank and credit card reconciliations royalties accounting and accruals Manage all accounting operations including Billing AR AP GL Cost Accounting Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition Establish and enforce proper accounting methods policies and principles Standardize and maintain a system of accounting records and techniques Support month end and year end close processes and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations Serve as primary contact for external auditors Qualifications Accounting or Finance degree BSBAMBA Previous experience in accounting management or related fields Thorough knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles and procedures Strong Excel skills including VLOOKUPs pivot tables and other advanced spreadsheet functions Strong leadership analytical and critical thinking skills Client focused with excellent written and verbal communication skills Benefits include Health dental and vision insurance Paid time off 401k IND2
