Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• CPA certification is a plus.
• Minimum five years of relevant accounting, financial reporting, external audit, or related experience.
• Higher education, healthcare, not-for-profit experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Researches, interprets, and applies U.S. GAAP and FASB guidance to complex accounting matters.
• Prepares technical accounting analyses and supporting documentation.
• Supports monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities.
• Assists in preparing the University’s annual financial statements and disclosures.
• Serves as a technical accounting resource to management, auditors, and cross-functional teams.
