Job Details

• The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing core accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting close, consolidation, and compliance activities across multiple legal entities.
• This role requires experience within a publicly traded company and a strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial statement preparation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• Support the close process for multiple legal entities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Assist with consolidated financial reporting and intercompany accounting
• Ensure compliance with SOX requirements, internal controls, and company accounting policies
• Support external and internal audits, including preparation of audit schedules and responses to auditor inquiries
• Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, tax, legal, and operational teams
• Analyze complex transactions and provide technical accounting guidance as needed
• Assist with process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Support SEC reporting activities (e.g., 10-K, 10-Q) as applicable

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
• CPA or CPA-eligible strongly preferred
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Prior experience in a publicly traded company required
• Experience working with multiple legal entities and complex organizational structures
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or similar)
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities
