Video advertising is a complex, multi-sided market with many technologies at play within the industry. Digital video is rapidly growing and evolving as viewers shift from traditional TV to OTT. Publishers are increasingly adding video content to their online experiences. Amazon’s video program is a rising competitor in this industry, with differentiated assets such as customer and audience insights, exclusive video and audio content, and inventory on streaming services (IMDb TV, Twitch, Prime Video, Amazon Music) and devices (Fire TV, Echo, Fire Tablet). These assets position us as a comprehensive service for advertisers and agencies. As our business expands, we continuously experiment with emerging ideas, technologies, and global markets.

Our team seeks a Sr. Technical Account Manager to support our growth and achieve our goals. In this role, you will manage campaign delivery and oversee programs related to supply monetization and optimization for major advertisers. You will have the opportunity to join Amazon’s rapidly growing video advertising business, ensuring high-quality technical and operational support to maintain excellent customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is customer-obsessed, technically skilled in solving complex problems, and persistent in resolving issues amidst ambiguity.

Key job responsibilities
  • Drive advertiser success through proactive monitoring and troubleshooting of campaign delivery issues
  • Develop and improve Standard Operating Procedures for incident response
  • Collaborate with sales to propose strategies to maximize video advertising performance
  • Gain expert understanding of product functionality and train customers and internal teams

The Video Ads Demand & Monetization team’s mission is to create the world’s most engaging video advertising experiences. We develop demand products that enable advertisers to buy video media across a diverse network of publishers and devices. Our team is focused on innovation, launching new capabilities, inventory sources, and measurement technologies across Amazon’s ecosystem.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 6+ years of experience in digital advertising and client-facing roles, with a focus on data analysis
  • Experience in annual brand and media planning
  • Proficiency with Doubleclick (XSM, DFP), AdJuster, or Salesforce
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience analyzing data to identify performance drivers and optimize campaigns
