As a Senior Technical Account Manager, you will help strategic and enterprise customers maximize the value of their security operations platform through technical consultation, integration expertise, and hands‑on problem‑solving. You will build trusted relationships with security practitioners, architects, and technical leaders to strengthen platform adoption and improve customer outcomes. Working closely with Customer Success Managers, you will provide the technical expertise needed to support customer satisfaction, retention, and growth. You will guide customers in optimizing security operations, resolving complex technical challenges, and expanding integrations across their security ecosystems. You will also coordinate technical responses during security incidents and collaborate with internal engineering and product teams to deliver effective solutions. This role offers the opportunity to deepen your cybersecurity expertise while helping organizations strengthen their security capabilities and protect people and critical operations.

Accountabilities
  • Drive platform adoption and technical health metrics across assigned accounts, ensuring customers fully leverage available capabilities.
  • Build strong technical relationships with security practitioners, architects, and technical leaders who influence adoption and integration decisions.
  • Advise customers on security program improvements, detection strategies, and ways to maximize the value of their technology investments.
  • Help customers mature their use of the platform by expanding integrations, optimizing configurations, and improving security workflows.
  • Provide technical insights, content, and support for quarterly business reviews led by Customer Success Managers.
  • Resolve complex troubleshooting and integration challenges in collaboration with Technical Support Engineering, Detection and Response, Engineering, and Product teams.
  • Coordinate technical incident responses with customers, managing technical communications and response activities while Customer Success Managers handle executive-level communication.
  • Identify technical expansion opportunities, including additional integrations and broader security coverage.
  • Partner with Customer Success Managers to support retention outcomes and identify opportunities for account growth.
  • Coach and mentor less experienced Technical Account Managers and Customer Success Managers on technical topics and customer-facing best practices.
Requirements
  • At least 7 years of experience in the security industry, primarily in consultative, customer-facing roles.
  • Deep technical expertise in at least three security product areas, such as Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Network Detection and Response (NDR), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), cloud security, or Identity and Access Management (IAM).
  • Strong understanding of detection strategies and how security technologies support effective security operations.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing technical position, such as solutions engineering, professional services, or technical consulting.
  • Knowledge of enterprise security operations and the challenges faced by security teams.
  • Strong consultative skills, including active listening, understanding customer needs, and recommending solutions tailored to their environment.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences, from Security Operations Center (SOC) analysts to security directors.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to coordinate technical issues across customers, account teams, and internal technical departments.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
Benefits
  • Base salary: $134,700-$195,300 USD annually, with the primary target range for candidates between $150,000 and $181,000, depending on experience, skills, and market data.
  • Additional compensation: Eligibility for bonuses and equity.
  • Flexible time off: Unlimited paid time off, with a culture that encourages employees to use it.
  • Work flexibility: Flexible work location arrangements.
  • Parental leave: Up to 24 weeks of parental leave.
  • Healthcare: Comprehensive health benefits.
  • Professional development: Opportunities to expand your cybersecurity expertise, strengthen your security operations knowledge, and build relationships with security leaders across industries.
  • Meaningful impact: Work with customers on security missions that help protect people and save lives.
