Parsons is seeking an experienced Sr. Tech Writer to join our Federal Solutions team in the United States.

You will prepare, edit, and format technical documentation for site surveys, reports, and other project deliverables, collaborating with engineers and field personnel. The role emphasizes accuracy, adherence to templates, and timely delivery, with strong proofreading and editing skills, and proficiency in Word and Acrobat.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of related experience, including 3+ years editing.
• Proficiency with Word, Acrobat, and document prep software.
• Ability to interpret technical information clearly.
• Detail-oriented with formatting consistency.
• Capable of independent work and meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, edit, and format technical docs (SSRs, SIPs, deliverables).
• Review drawings, surveys, specs to develop accurate reports.
• Ensure documents meet templates and client standards.
• Proofread for accuracy, clarity, grammar, terminology.
• Coordinate with engineers and field staff to resolve discrepancies.
• Incorporate review comments and manage revisions.
• Prepare tables of contents, figures, references, and elements.
• Deliverables finished on project schedules and deadlines.
