Job summary

EvenUp is seeking a Senior Technical Talent Partner to lead complex engineering and ML searches across San Francisco and Toronto offices. You will advise executives on role design, hiring strategy, and assessments, and serve as the go-to sourcing expert with a data-driven mindset.

You will own senior stakeholder relationships, push for fast results, and ensure exceptional candidate experience while upholding EvenUp's values.

Qualifications

• Track record independently leading senior, complex, or niche technical searches, ideally at a fast-paced startup.
• Strong data fluency, using metrics and benchmarks to diagnose issues and guide prioritization.
• Proven ability to advise technical leaders as a consultant, reframing hiring asks and influencing senior stakeholders.
• High agency under ambiguity, unblocking stalled searches without waiting for direction.
• Resilience through pressure, sustaining quality and momentum through freezes or reorganizations.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for complex, senior, or hard-to-fill roles across Engineering and ML.
• Advise hiring managers and execs on role design, strategy, and assessment/offer process.
• Consult on sourcing strategy, compensation, and assessments using data to inform decisions.
• Maintain senior stakeholder relationships and act as the primary link between Talent and business.
• Set the pace on searches and re-engineer approaches when a search stalls.
• Handle the most challenging searches, keeping stakeholders calm through change.
• Own outcomes end-to-end with clean write-ups and data hygiene for the team.
• Stay ahead of market trends, piloting new approaches and sharing results.
• Champion an exceptional candidate experience and uphold EvenUp's values.
