Job summary

Humana is seeking a Principal, Technology Strategy Advancement to shape and connect technology strategy across a large, high-visibility business segment, turning priorities into measurable roadmaps, investments, and value.

You will partner with business, product, engineering and finance leaders to drive multi-year portfolios and executive-level strategy materials that inform decisions and energize modernization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, Finance, Strategy, Operations, or related field OR equivalent work experience.
• 15+ years of experience in technology strategy, enterprise strategy, portfolio management, or related roles.
• Experience supporting large, complex technology organizations with multi-year roadmaps and $350M+ investments.
• Proven ability to translate business strategy into technology strategy and measurable outcomes.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder influence skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a technology strategy view aligned to business priorities.
• Translate business strategy into roadmaps, investment themes, capability needs, sequencing, risks, dependencies, and leadership decisions.
• Develop executive strategy materials, roadmaps, investment alignment views, scorecards, and business cases.
• Establish a 360-degree view of the technology organization with measurable value.
• Partner with business, product, engineering, architecture, finance, cybersecurity, data, and delivery leaders to identify gaps and risks.
• Monitor external market trends to inform strategy and investment decisions.
• Translate leadership decisions into actions with owners, milestones, and execution checkpoints.
