Job summary

F5 is seeking an experienced Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist on a contract basis to lead full-cycle recruitment focused on Technical Sales. You will partner with Sales and GTM hiring managers to build pipelines of top technical sales talent in competitive markets and guide compensation benchmarking and market insights.

You’ll interview, negotiate offers, and drive a superior candidate experience from first touch to onboarding, while improving recruiting processes and delivering metrics.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of full-cycle recruiting with significant focus on Technical Sales hiring.
• Proven track record sourcing and closing Technical Sales professionals across levels.
• Deep understanding of Technical Sales roles, career paths, and motivators.
• Proficient in sourcing tools including LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and sales platforms.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building with candidates and senior leadership.
• Experience with ATS Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, or similar.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions with aggressive hiring timelines.
• Data-driven mindset with focus on pipeline metrics, time-to-fill, and offer acceptance rates.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end recruitment for Technical Sales roles, including Solutions Engineers, Account Executives, Account Managers, and BDRs.
• Develop targeted sourcing strategies to engage passive Technical Sales talent via LinkedIn, direct outreach, referrals, and communities.
• Partner with Sales and GTM hiring managers to understand role requirements, territory needs, and ideal candidate profiles.
• Provide strategic guidance on technical sales talent market trends, compensation benchmarking, and competitive intelligence.
• Conduct behavioral and competency-based interviews to assess technical aptitude, sales acumen, and cultural fit.
• Negotiate offers and deliver an exceptional candidate experience from first touchpoint through onboarding.
• Continuously improve Technical Sales recruiting processes and contribute best practices to the broader Talent Acquisition team.
• Maintain accurate ATS documentation and deliver regular pipeline reporting and hiring metrics to stakeholders.
