The role requires on-camera reporting, a strong editorial instinct, and the ability to build confidential sources across North America; Mandarin proficiency is preferred to support cross-border collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as tech reporter or journalist, preferably Silicon Valley coverage.
• Foundational AI/ML, semiconductor ecosystems, and VC mechanics knowledge.
• On-camera reporting ability with reel/portfolio.
• Fast-paced, high-precision editorial judgment under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Cover real-time industry developments, major product releases, and strategic events.
• Write briefs under deadlines; develop long-form features and investigations.
• Unpack business models and technological implications for readers.
• Conduct high-level interviews with executives, researchers, and investors.
