Amazon Ads is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to drive high-impact programs across Worldwide Advertising, solving complex problems and delivering on time with technical depth.

You will partner with engineering, product, science, and business teams to define requirements, create architectural designs, monitor health, and manage risks while aligning with business goals and customer impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams.
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
• Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design.
• Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps.

Advertisers spend tens of billions of dollars annually leveraging Amazon Advertising to grow their businesses. We support advertisers by building industry-standard advertiser controls (demand) with an open data plane serving an ever-growing number of ad serving channels (supply). Our services support all Sponsored Ads programs and all Display Ad programs—you can think of our team as the brain and nervous system of all advertisements within Amazon. As advertisers and advertising tools rapidly adopt AI agents to plan, optimize, and achieve marketing goals, Amazon Ads is building multiple agentic applications to lead this transformation. Our services are building common infrastructure such as MCP tools and real-time data services to accelerate agent development.

The Ads AI Core Infra (ACI) team develops essential services that underpin all advertising programs such as Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display. We build core services for Service Availability, Advertiser Registration and Access Management, Ad Catalog Service, Data Ingestion/Publishing, and Analytics.

Do you want to drive high-impact programs that improve the resilience of advertising systems across multiple VP organizations? We're looking for Senior Technical Program Manager who will collaborate with teams across Worldwide Advertising to solve critical business problems, navigate ambiguity, and manage stakeholder expectations. In this role, you will leverage your exceptional program management skills and technical depth to deliver high visibility initiatives for our Ads AI Core Infrastructure team. As a senior technical program owner, you will be accountable for the overall strategy and driving teams to deliver results. You'll partner with engineering teams to determine priorities, manage diverse requests from worldwide teams, and balance business needs against technical constraints. Your ability to anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and coordinate large, multi-functional projects on time will be crucial to our success.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience

• 3+ years of software development experience

• 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience

• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

• Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design

• Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience

• Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
