Job summary

Real is seeking a San Francisco-based Senior/Account Director for its B2B tech PR practice. You will lead 4–6 account teams, shape high-level messaging, and drive new business for globally backed, AI/tech clients. Expect a hybrid role in San Francisco with NYC collaboration, strong media relations, and a focus on strategic programs.

The ideal candidate has 6.5–10.5 years of PR experience, including director-level leadership, and a track record of delivering results for demanding tech clients.

Qualifications

• 6.5–10.5 years of PR experience including Account Director level.
• Must have strong B2B enterprise tech or deep tech experience (AI, fintech, semiconductors, quantum computing, cybersecurity, etc.).
• Must have management experience and the ability to lead multiple teams.
• Strong reporter relationships across top-tier publications.
• Experience developing high-level strategy and messaging for clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead 4–6 account teams and ensure client targets are consistently exceeded.
• Develop high-level PR strategy and messaging for clients.
• Participate in new business and agency marketing activities with proven success.
• Maintain strong relationships with reporters across major outlets.
• Collaborate with highly technical B2B clients on innovative programs.
