Job summary

PMY Group is seeking a Senior Technology Project Manager to lead client engagements in Minnesota’s public sector, guiding audiovisual design and engineering efforts with a focus on cabling, networking, and security systems. You will manage multidisciplinary teams, coordinating with architects, engineers, and procurement.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of experience managing AV technology or multiple technology consulting projects, preferably public sector.
• Strong technical expertise in audiovisual design and engineering with knowledge of cabling, network, and security systems.
• Experience serving public sector clients (K-12, higher education, municipal government) and understanding procurement.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary day-to-day contact for clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Lead meetings, site visits, and coordination sessions; manage schedules and budgets.
• Build client trust through proactive communication and advisory services.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
• Oversee design reviews and quality control across disciplines.
• Ensure deliverables meet client requirements and contractual obligations.
• Travel throughout Minnesota and occasional overnight stays as needed.
