Job summary

UnitedHealth Group seeks a Senior Technical Product Manager to drive team-level execution, manage backlogs, forecast budgets, and lead AI-powered product development across cross-functional engineering teams.

You will guide stakeholder intake, design scalable APIs, leverage enterprise AI tools, and maintain delivery transparency using tools like Aha! and Rally, while delivering high-quality software aligned with business strategy.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree OR equivalent technical experience (4+ years of technical product management).
5+ years of experience in product management or technical product management.
3+ years of understanding system design, APIs, and modern architectures.
2+ years leading or supporting multiple Agile Scrum teams across multiple teams.
2+ years of proficiency with product and delivery tools (Aha! or Rally) for roadmap planning and backlog management.
1+ years of experience managing project budgets and forecasts.
Demonstrated use of AI tools to support daily work and expedite delivery.

Responsibilities

Manage team-level execution, product backlogs, sprint delivery, and project forecasting/budgeting.
Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions addressing complex business challenges.
Leverage enterprise AI tools to expedite backlog delivery and improve workflows.
Lead intake discussions and guide stakeholders to ensure clear requests.
Partner with engineering and cross-functional teams to define scalable features.
Evaluate emerging tech trends to inform design and architecture.
Maintain product management tools and ensure timely, accurate delivery data.
Oversee budgets, timelines, and team performance with leadership.
