Qualifications
7+ years of experience in embedded systems, robotics, or autonomous vehicle software development.
Proven experience leading a technical team or functioning as a tech lead on a complex systems project.
Hands-on background in robotics actuation — CAN, drive-by-wire, or similar control interfaces.
Experience building or owning software platform components: health monitoring, telemetry, diagnostics, or deployment systems for production embedded platforms.
Responsibilities
Lead technical direction and mentor engineers for the Autonomy Platform team.
Define roadmap across internal product milestones and customer requirements.
Own the low-level vehicle controls interface.
Build and maintain the software platform that keeps autonomous vehicles healthy in production.
Drive 0→1 bringup of new mining vehicle platforms.
Partner with internal teams to integrate shared capabilities.
Define and uphold engineering standards for reliability, safety, and scalability.
