Job summary

IK Systems is seeking a senior Installation and Service Tech III to perform advanced installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of low-voltage security systems. Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 8 years installing enterprise low-voltage security systems.
• Certificates or Licenses: Valid Driver's License and DOT Physical.
• Technical Skills: IP-based security, networking, and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced installation of low-voltage security systems with precise configuration.
• Lead system commissioning, testing hardware and software to spec.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve wiring, hardware, and software issues across vendors.
• Repair/replace defective wiring or components with minimal oversight.
• Integrate video, access control, and alarm systems into cohesive setups.
• Configure IP-based systems and ensure network communication.
• Prepare detailed configurations, test results, and troubleshooting logs.
• Maintain service records of installations and configurations.
• Ensure work complies with OSHA, standards, and safety requirements.
• Maintain readiness with tools and knowledge for high-level fieldwork.
