Job summary

U.S. Bank (Elavon) is seeking a Sr. Program/Project Manager to drive technology delivery across payment processing and commerce platforms.

You will translate program objectives into actionable plans, coordinate across Product, Engineering, Architecture, and Risk, and ensure on-time, high-quality outcomes with clear status reporting. The role emphasizes collaboration with senior leaders, governance, and continuous improvement in an agile and hybrid delivery environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
10+ years with planning, organizing, monitoring and controlling IT projects.
Experience coordinating software delivery using Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, or hybrid methods.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with payment systems, fintech solutions, or financial services tech is a plus.
PMP certification is preferred; Agile certificates are preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain execution plans for strategic technology initiatives.
Coordinate delivery across Product, Engineering, Architecture, Operations, Risk and Compliance.
Facilitate planning sessions, reviews, and release readiness activities.
Maintain integrated project plans, risk logs and status reporting.
Provide executive updates and governance materials.
Identify and mitigate schedule, scope, or resource risks; remove blockers.
