Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation in Tysons Corner, VA, seeks a Senior Technology Advisor and Integration Engineer to support Enterprise Systems Engineering for the National Intelligence Division. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related disciplines.
• 10+ years of engineering or software development experience.
• Experience with developing or assessing technology transition plans.
• Experience with systems engineering activities: requirements, concept of operations, architecture trade-offs, risk and opportunity identification, readiness review, integration and verification planning and execution, QA, configuration management.
• Experience with program management activities: governance in business and engineering contexts.
• Understanding of acquisition management, agile or commercial practices, and USSF/IC policies.
• Knowledge of systems-of-systems, space, ground, or C2 systems.
• Ability to work proactively and self-direct.
• Ability to develop project plans and balance schedules.
• Must present complex technical material to DoD and government officials.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical advisory leadership to senior customers and stakeholders.
• Develop and ensure compliance with CFO/TDG technical standards and procedures.
• Advise on system capabilities, constraints, and transition planning.
• Maintain and evolve technical documentation and architecture diagrams.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Lead technical deep dives, trade studies, and requirements analysis.
• Assess system vulnerabilities and resiliency from a systems perspective.
• Collaborate with industry and subject-matter experts to design solutions.
• Lead independent program assessments to strengthen capabilities.
• Coordinate with Aerospace SMEs to deliver strategic analyses for senior customers.
