Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Sr. Teacher to implement our curriculum while addressing each child’s unique needs in a supportive classroom environment.

You will lead and mentor fellow teachers, create a safe setting for play and learning, and partner with parents to ensure the best care and education for children. This role supports enrollment growth, accreditation, and community engagement across centers.

Qualifications

• 6 months of center-based ECE experience.
• Meet & maintain state-specific requirement to supervise children alone in a classroom.
• Outstanding customer service skills and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to see and hear well enough to keep children safe and engage with them.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents.
• Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support your center’s success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners
