KinderCare Learning Companies in Wisconsin (Pleasant Prairie) is seeking a Sr. Teacher to lead the implementation of our curriculum and ensure it aligns with each child's needs, while mentoring teammates and partnering with families.

You will help drive center success, including enrollment, accreditation, and engagement, within a safe, nurturing classroom environment that supports active learning and development.

Competenze

• Minimum 2+ years in center-based ECE environments.
• Ability to supervise children independently in a classroom.
• Must meet WI registry Level 12 requirements.
• Valid CDA or AA in Early Childhood Education.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
• Strong English communication skills for parents and children.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

When you join our team as a Sr. Teacher you will:

• Lead the implementation of KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child
• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support your center’s success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners

Required Skills and Experience:

• 2+ years of center-based ECE Experience
• Meet & maintain the state-specific requirement to supervise children alone in a classroom setting
• Level 12 WI registry
• Minimum of a CDA or AA in ECE
• Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively
• Able to see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
• Able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English
• Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors
