Hitachi Rail is looking for a Senior TCMS Engineer to join our Train Control & Management System (TCMS) team. You will support design, development, integration, testing, and commissioning of TCMS systems, collaborating with system engineers, software developers, validation engineers, and project stakeholders throughout the lifecycle.

The role requires 5+ years in TCMS engineering, a Master’s or Engineering degree in Electronic/Computer/Telecommunications, and strong skills in C/C++, Python, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of TCMS engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze TCMS requirements ensuring traceability throughout development.
• Participate in technical meetings with teams, suppliers, and customers to resolve issues.
• Support design and development of TCMS software for railway applications.
• Perform software integration and onboard testing on railway vehicles.
• Support commissioning, site acceptance, deployment and validation of TCMS functions.
• Analyze field returns and customer feedback to identify root causes.
• Collaborate with engineering to troubleshoot software and system issues.
• Support verification and validation including lab, integration, and vehicle testing.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and test reports.
