Edward Jones seeks an expert in High Net Worth tax planning to partner with advisors and third parties, delivering tailored tax and wealth planning services. The role focuses on translating complex tax concepts into practical client guidance, aligning strategies with overall financial plans for high net worth clients.

You will work with internal teams and external providers to ensure timely advice, support strategic initiatives, and maintain a strong client relationship. Tempe, AZ and St.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Law required.
• CPA or Masters of Taxation required.
• Series 7 and 66 required within 6 months of hire.
• Insurance license required 6 months of hire.
• CFP preferred or obtained in accordance with firm policy.
• 11+ years of experience in the financial services industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Senior planner and partner with home office and third‑party experts to support financial advisors and deliver high‑quality APPS for HNW clients.
• Serve as SME for complex tax planning cases and advise on regulatory changes affecting strategies.
• Communicate with advisors and clients to document goals and articulate tax planning recommendations.
• Coordinate with 3rd party tax planning and legal providers to implement strategies and ensure alignment with EDJ guidance.
• Facilitate timely delivery and execution of tax planning advice between providers and HNW team.
• Lead or contribute to strategic initiatives within WMAS to evolve HNW services.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholder groups to align HNW strategy with APPS initiatives.
