You will prepare complex returns, provide proactive tax advice, and partner with financial advisors to integrate planning strategies. Strong communication and a client-focused approach are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of public accounting tax experience.
• Advanced knowledge of federal income tax law.
• Experience with ProSeries Tax Software.
• Experience with Intuit products and workflow tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review complex individual, partnership, and S corp returns.
• Prepare corporate returns and Form 5500 filings.
• Perform year-round tax planning for individuals and businesses.
• Research complex tax issues and propose client solutions.
• Meet with clients to discuss strategies and planning opportunities.
• Assist with IRS and state notices and correspondence.
• Collaborate with financial advisors for integrated tax planning.
• Mentor junior staff and assist with training.
• Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and client experience.
