Job summary

BDO USA seeks a Core Tax Services Senior Manager to advise clients on tax implications, guide strategy to reduce taxes and cost of compliance, and serve as the primary contact for complex tax issues. You will lead teams, participate in leadership activities, and contribute to marketing and business development within tax specialties.

The role demands strong communication, extensive ASC 740 knowledge, and the ability to manage client relationships and drive tax solutions across engagements.

Qualifications

• Eight (8) or more years of relevant tax experience and/or public accounting, private industry accounting or consulting experience.
• CPA certification or equivalent.
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities.
• Ability to develop and manage a tax team and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Advising clients on tax implications of business objections and reducing tax burden.
• Lead ASC 740/FAS 109 and FIN 48 compliance and tax accruals.
• Develop tax strategies and client solutions while managing risk.
• Supervise associates and senior associates across projects.
• Present complex tax strategies to clients and prospects.
