Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Tax Experienced Senior, Core Tax Services, to join our team in the United States. You will apply tax foundational knowledge, gather client information, perform planning activities, and prepare tax returns for review, while acting as the primary client contact for inquiries.

You may supervise Core Tax Services Associates, review their work, and ensure compliance with Firm policies and the Tax Quality Manual. Strong research, communication, and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics or related field; CPA or active eligibility required
• Master’s in accountancy or taxation preferred
• Three or more years of tax experience in public accounting or related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare tax returns and accruals with guidance from senior team members
• Act as main client contact for general questions and information
• Supervise and review work of Core Tax Services Associates
• Identify and communicate potential tax risks and issues
• Collaborate with Assurance on tax provision reviews
• Develop tax planning strategies and support client consulting projects
• Mentor junior staff and provide performance feedback
