Job summary

Adams Brown, LLC is seeking a seasoned tax professional with a strong background in income tax returns and wealth management. The role focuses on client advisory, tax research, and multi-entity return preparation within a collaborative team environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Accounting or Finance (or CPA hours toward licensure), 3–5 years of experience, and is pursuing CPA certification. This exempt position offers growth and a modern work setting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA exam hours required or in progress.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Licensed CPA or actively pursuing CPA certification.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on tax services, compliance, retirement planning and wealth transfer.
• Prepares tax returns and conducts tax research to develop strategies and planning opportunities.
• Reviews mid-level complexity individual, trust, partnership and corporate tax returns.
• Tax planning and client consulting.
• Maintains accurate time and expense records for billing.
