North Star Resource Group in Minneapolis, MN, is seeking a Tax Manager to oversee a book of 200–225 tax clients, providing planning, preparation, and final review. You will mentor team members and collaborate with financial advisors to enhance clients' financial strategies.

You'll review and sign returns, lead complex tax matters, and help drive proactive tax planning in a flexible hybrid work environment. CPA or EA preferred, with 4+ years of experience in tax.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years of progressive tax preparation and planning experience.
• CPA or EA designation.
• Strong knowledge of individual taxation and applicable business/entity returns.
• Experience reviewing returns and handling more complex tax situations.
• Ability to communicate tax concepts clearly to clients.
• Strong relationship-building and client-service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities during tax season.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field.

• Manage an established book of approximately 200–225 tax clients.
• Prepare and review individual and/or business tax returns.
• Provide proactive year-round tax planning and strategy.
• Serve as a trusted point of contact for clients.
• Partner with financial advisors on tax-related planning opportunities.

• Mentor and provide technical guidance to other tax team members.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and client experience.
