Leoforce seeks a Tax Senior in Edmonds, WA to lead strategic tax planning and oversee federal and state tax compliance. The role focuses on tax provision, return preparation, audits, and proactive tax strategy in a growing accounting environment.

The candidate should bring 5+ years in tax roles, CPA and strong leadership, with the ability to guide a tax team and interact with management on legislative changes.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required. CPA/Advanced taxation credentials preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in a tax manager or public accounting role with at least 2 years in management.
• Deep knowledge of tax accounting, compliance and returns.

Mansioni

• Develop and implement strategic tax planning for federal and state taxes.
• Lead and develop tax team members preparing US federal and state returns.
• Review tax returns and projections on a quarterly/yearly basis.
• Manage IRS income tax audits: responses and schedules.
• Monitor tax legislation and advise on impacts to strategy and planning.
• Support internal audits and special tax projects.
