You will oversee 1065 forms, advise partners, and collaborate with auditors, while mentoring staff and aligning tax strategy with firm goals.

This permanent position offers a competitive salary of $100,000 to $160,000, with opportunities for professional growth within a well‑established practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in a tax manager role, preferably within the legal industry.
• Extensive knowledge of 1065 forms and other tax-related documents.
• CPA or CTC designation preferred.
• Proficient in tax software and related tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all tax matters, ensure compliance with tax laws, prepare and file returns.
• Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize liabilities.
• Review 1065 forms for accuracy and completeness.
• Provide expert tax advice to partners and stakeholders.
• Stay updated on tax law changes and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with auditors on tax inquiries.
• Conduct regular tax training for staff.
• Assist with preparation and review of financial statements for tax items.
