Responsibilities

• Lead the Tax Practice: oversee day-to-day tax department operations, ensuring timely, accurate deliverables across diverse clients.
• Client Engagement: advise high-value clients with strategic tax planning, compliance, and tailored consulting.
• Technical Review & Compliance: review and sign off on complex tax returns (partnerships, C‑corps, S‑corps, Schedule C) ensuring current tax code compliance.
• Growth & Business Development: leverage relationships to attract new clients, expand services, and grow revenue.
• Strategic Tax Planning: implement proactive tax strategies to minimize risk and boost profitability.
• Team Leadership & Mentoring: guide staff at all levels and foster a culture of learning and client service.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: collaborate with audit, advisory and operations to deliver integrated solutions.
• Firm Strategy & Leadership: contribute to firm direction through strategic planning and leadership activities.
