Qualifications

• CPA license or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification is required.

• Extensive knowledge of tax accounting principles and IRS regulations.
• Must stay up-to-date on changing tax industry regulations and policies.
• Self-starter who enjoys working independently and in a team environment.
• Able to focus on complex tasks and understand the firm’s comprehensive compliance processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, reviews, and signs individual, business, and other types of tax returns for clients in various entities and industries.
• Collaborates with the tax team on planning, client interaction and special tax projects.
• Analyzes tax situations to ensure maximum tax benefit.
• Develops solutions and communicates them to the engagement team and client.
• Manages client relationships and billing for accounting services.
• Provides mentoring and technical training for employees in the tax department.
• Attends training seminars, professional development, and networking events.
