Requires a Bachelor's in Accounting; CPA preferred or EA accepted, and 2–4 years of public accounting tax experience with strong IRS knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• Active CPA license or working towards CPA license preferred; Enrolled Agent (EA) certification also accepted.
• 2–4 years of tax experience within public accounting.
• Strong knowledge of tax accounting principles and IRS regulations.
• Self-starter who works independently and in a team environment.
• Able to focus on complex tasks and understand the firm's compliance processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepares individual, business and other returns for clients across entities and industries.
• Works with tax team on planning, client interaction and special tax projects.
• Gathers tax-related information from clients for accurate returns.
• Monitors tax regulations to maximize benefits.
• Trains and mentors junior staff in the tax department.
• Attends training seminars and professional development events.
