Job summary

Allworth Financial is seeking a Tax Manager to lead tax services for clients across federal, state and local income taxes. The role includes tax projections, analysis and notice resolution, with client-facing responsibilities and collaboration with advisors and planning teams.

Based in Folsom, CA, Vancouver, WA or Pleasant Hill, CA, the position offers hybrid work near offices. Base salary ranges from $130,000 to $180,000 per year with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in accounting preferred.
• Valid CPA license.
• 6+ years individual, trust and gift tax return preparation and review experience.
• Proficiency in income tax planning and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review income, estate/trust and gift tax returns with accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local filing requirements.
• Respond to IRS and tax agency notices timely.
• Collaborate with clients, advisors and planning team on strategy.
• Maintain strong communication with clients and staff.
